Legacy Buffalograss Plug Trays

Developed by the University of Nebraska and released for sale in 2000, Legacy® changed the way people look at buffalograss turf. It has a dark blue-green color and only grows 3 to 5 inches high. Its dense canopy of fine leaf blades creates a very soft carpet which is perfect for lawn activities. Legacy also shows better shade tolerance than previous varieties. Legacy will grow in shade, but it is not as aggressive and will not spread as well as in full sun. It is cold hardy to Zone 2.
How Many Buffalograss Plug Trays Should I Order?
Legacy Buffalograss Plugs are all sold by the tray. There are 95 plugs in each tray. Once you have figured your square footage and the desired spacing, multiply your square footage by the appropriate number from the table below to find the number of plugs needed. Then divide the number of plugs by 95 to figure the number of trays needed.

Shipping Information
Most shipping is done on Mondays to try to prevent plugs from sitting in a warehouse or on a truck over the weekend. Since we ship from the middle of the US, we able to reach both coasts by Friday. When typing in your shipping date, please fill in the date you would like your product to be shipped on. Every attempt will be made to get the product to you the week that you have picked. We will confirm this date with you before shipping your plugs to you. Adjustments to shipping dates may be made due to weather conditions or availability of product; if this happens, you will be notified.

Zeba Root Dip will help ensure success for your buffalograss plugs, especially in areas where water is not easily accessible. Not planting 1000 plugs? Only mix up enough solution for the amount you are planting and keep the rest to be used to dip the roots of other plantings as well.
